Pay from your super
Step 1 / ‘New Fund’ set up
- We will set up an account for you in the super fund you select.
- If you have opted into the default insurance cover in your new fund, we will set this up. We cannot guarantee that you will obtain the default insurance, but we will keep you informed every step of the way.
- Your new super fund details are sent to you and stored in your Super Fierce digital account.
- If you’re employed, you should send these details to your employer so they can start contributing on your behalf.
Step 2 / Rollover Fund set up
- First we check if we can consolidate directly and process our Service Fee from one of your existing funds, or your new selected fund.
- If we cannot do this, we may need to set up a rollover fund. This is a temporary account in a low fee fund that minimises the time and cost of consolidating your existing accounts. This account will be closed as soon as the process is complete.
- We’re not paid by any of the super funds. If you’d prefer to pay by credit card, that’s totally cool too.
Step 3 / Rolling over your funds
- Next, we will contact your current super fund/s and instruct them to close the account/s.
- Your current super fund/s will then transfer the funds per our instructions.
- If a rollover fund is required, as soon as the funds arrive (it could be staggered timing as every fund is different) we’ll transfer them into your new super fund.
- We’ll take our agreed service fee at this point.
Step 4 / Completing the process
Once your funds have been transferred to your shiny new super fund and we’ve sorted your insurance, if you asked us to, we will:
- Donate $100 of our fee to Fierce Impact to help women in need (If we don’t charge you a fee, we won’t donate $100 to Fierce Impact).
- Close your rollover fund (if one was set up).
- Once this is all done, we’ll confirm this to you in writing and update your Super Fierce digital account with your new super info.
Step 5 / You're officially Super Fierce!
